What Are The Side Effects Of Iv Antibiotics?

I have not had a period in 7 years - had early menopause. Ame now 48. All of a sudden I m having tender breasts and all the signs of the possible onset of a period. I have just come out of hospital with kidney infection where I had several IV antibiotics *just in case this is relevant) What do you think is happening?

Hi,

Post menopausal breast pain is mostly due to not related to cycles. It can be due to the diuretics you are taking for kidney infection. It would diminish with reducing therapy. Not likely to be cancerous or side effect of IV antibiotic. Please consult your treating doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
