What Are The Side Effects Of Minoxidil?

Hi... I am suffering from male pattern baldness and am in stage 3... Having used a combination of finasteride 1mg.. 10% Minoxidil and vitamin tabs for three long years I didn t see much of an improvement in hair growth n so I am planning to go for hair transplant once for all... Please let me know how safe it is and the side effects if any.

Side effects of Minoxidil- Topical form: Edema; chest pain; BP changes; palpitations; heart rate changes.

CNS: Topical form: Headache; dizziness; faintness.
DERM: Topical form: Irritant or allergic dermatitis; eczema; local erythema; pruritus; dry scalp; exacerbation of hair loss; alopecia.
