Acelast contains acebrophylline which is a respiratory stimulant. It is sometimes advised in case of cough. The main side effect of this medicine is increased heart rate along with some difference in the blood level of a mineral called potassium. Loose motion is probably unrelated. Vomiting may occur due to some intolerance or gastritis that could be caused by any medicine. There should have been no problems with the dose. If your child is not feeding well, it indicates that something is not right and may require to be investigated. Unless I get the full detail of the problems, it is hard for me to comment.
