Hi,

Primolut N tablet contains norethisterone which is man made version of the natural female sex hormone progesterone is used to treat various menstrual problems including painful, irregular or heavy periods, premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and endometriosis. Side effects of Primolut N are nausea, vomiting, headache, GIT upset, abdominal cramps, dizziness, breast tenderness, vaginal spotting, weight gain, rapid or irregular heartbeat, trouble with sleep, facial hair growth, depressed mood, blurred vision, bulging of eyes, yellowing of skin and eyes, fainting, allergic reactions etc.

Primolut N tablet may reset your cycle. It is usually given for 10 days to help manage heavy periods. Usually, your periods will start within 3 days after stopping the medication. Your body may correct itself after 3-4 cycles and your period may begin as before.
