What Are The Side Effects Of Spine TB Medicines To Conceive?
Hi, I am 30+ female and infected with spine TB and my medication is going on for last 3 weeks. I just want to know, since I am married and was planning to start a family. how soon can i start a family? and is there will be any problems in conceiving later because of heavy dosage of spine TB? Thanks a lot !
There is no side effects of taking taking ATT. but if you're using OCPs then their effect will be reduced due to Rifampicin induced enzyme induction. After completion of the course of medication you may plan for pregnancy. Hence, don't worry. ATT have many side effects like peripheral neuropathy, hyper uresemia, optic neuritis and liver toxicity etc.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
