What Are The Side Effects Of Suppository For A 3 Years Old?

gud evening doctor my baby have 3 years old she having suffer from cold and fever for the last one week , yeasterday doctor give suppository in night hospital itself , after that morning also i put supposittory, is it make any side effects to her using suppository

Hi,

Sometimes suppository, if used in the wrong say by untrained people, can cause rectal tears and it not advisable to use it if the kid is able to take the medicine orally.

I suggest you avoid it as long as the kid is able to take Paracetamol medicine.
