What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Montelukast Sod 4 Mg Tablet?
My 9 year old son at several 4mg montelukast SOD chew tablets. i did not find out until tonight when i went to give him his nightly dose. He said he ate them last night after i gave him his regular dose. i yet to notice any side effects nor has complained about anything unusual. what if any action should i take?

Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist, this means that it prevents or reduces the actions of a chemical in the body called leukotrienes. Leukotrienes are involved in causing allergic reaction.
The most common side effects are headaches, sore throat, dizziness, rash, ear pain, skin rash, dental pain.
