What Are The Side Effects Of The Steroid Medicines?
My 8 yr old, 50lb Daughter, history of astma, no other medical issues, Currently taking an oral steroid for a croopy cough, got a chunk of skin cut from her hand this morning and it continues to bleed after being cleaned & direct pressure bandaged with gauze. now she is complaining that it hurts around the wound too. what can we do?

Hi,
Steroid tablet should not used for long. Use steroid inhaler instead for asthma like Triohale MDI. Long term use of steroid causes skin bleeding and bruising.
