What Are The Symptoms After The Stapler Treatment For Piles?

My 72 year old mom had a stapler treatment for piles a month ago. But she still experience some bloody discharge n her bowel movements have changed n increased in frequency to as much as 3-4 times a day n she seems to be losing weight as a result ? Is this normal
