What Are The Symptoms Of A Stroke?

I went to my dr on Friday and found myself very much underweight. I ve lost 50+ lbs in the last year. I ve noticed that my arms were weak and then today I woke up and couldn t get out of bed. I m experiencing paralysis all over my body. It s gotten better as I ve been awake (15 min or so). Is it possible that this is a sign of having a stroke?

Hi

Thanks for using HealthcareMagic
Strokes can present in slightly different ways in individuals but in general there is weakness on one side only because a stroke involves a bleed or blockage of blood on one side of the brain.
Generalized weakness and paralysis would likely be due to a different cause.
You may want to consider visiting your doctor for an assessment regarding these additional symptoms.
I hope this helps

Take Care
