What Are The Symptoms Of Blood Clot In The Calf?

My husband got hit in the shin with a very hard hit baseball last night. The site of the hit, on the shin, is sore like a bruise, but the real pain is in his calf. The calf is really hard now, and tight, like it s in spasm, and is sore to the touch when he sits and walks. Now it is also swelled up. I am concerned it could be a blood clot?

Hi,It is most likely due to muscle injury and edema .It will resolve by few days of inflammatory treatment. So consult your doctor for treatment .
