What Are The Symptoms Of Panic Attack?

I have been previously diagnosed with depression and/or social anxiety disorder, diagnoses I'm not sure I agreed with and have little resources with which to cure them. I occasionally have episodes where I am overwhelmed by crowds and resultingly start crying, develop difficulty breathing, and have the urge to escape. Are these panic attacks? How can I stop them?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
dear,
panic attacks have abrupt onset.
there is sudden apprehensive feeling, intense anxiety associated with sweating, nausea, breathlessness, dizziness, etc
it can be without any cause or often when response to a particular event or peculiar circumstances.
often last for few minutes.

tab propranolo 20 mg sos
tab alprazolam 0.25 mg sos
whenver you anticipate an attack is the treatment of choice.
psychotherapy like graded exposure and washing out techniques are effective.
i would advice to show yourself to a local psychiatrist.
do not worry a minor problem it it.
hope to have solve your query.
thanks
regards
