Hi,

I really appreciate your concern, Imodium is not the curative medicine but it can only checks the diarrhea and it is not advisable to have this tablet because checking diarrhea with Imodium could be the paralytic ilium and it could be dangerous, most of the diarrhea condition are self limiting may not needs any treatment but of course hydration needs to be taken a care.

If the diarrhea is not controlled on it is own then you can try Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day because it could be protozoa infection and Metronidazole can be taken for five to seven days.

Hope this information helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
