What Are The Treatments For Sore Throat, Coughing And Difficulty In Swallowing?
Hi I m Emma. I just have a sore throat but Its really painful it hurts more when i swallow and drink water. I m coughing up mucus but have No other cold symptoms. I have been coughingup mucus for 3 months now due to a chest infection that i am now over.

I have gone through your history.
Sore throat will cause severe pain in the throat region and it makes you difficult to take the food.During sore throat the throat will be congested and swollen because of which you cannot swallow.
I would Advise
1. Oral Antiboitics for 5 days
2. Mouth Gargling with chlorhexidene mouth wash
3.Oral Analgesics and Antipyretics.
