Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding tickling in throat, coughing, running nose and excess salivation.

As per your clinical history you are suffering from acute respiratory tract infection involving your nose , sinuses, tonsils and throat. As you said there is ticking in throat is basically due to nasal and sinus infection which gives rise to post nasal drip. this drip you are observing as tickling in throat. by this drip infection reaches the throat and tonsils also.

In acutely inflamed tonsils there is always difficulty in swallowing therefore excess salivation is there.

Here I would like to suggest you to please consult your ENT doctor for examination and necessary investigation for making diagnosis and treatment.

Regards.
