What Are The Underlying Causes For Traces Of Blood In My Urine Sample?

yes I am 53 years old just had a urine sample checked , my found traces of blood in it
dr. tells me there is nothing to be concerned about just see her in a month would you know of anything that might cause that , I got her message to late, I guess I am a little worried
should I be?

Hi,
Traces of blood can be due to infection, stones in urinary tract, injury or due to contamination. If it is traces then you should not worry. Please get a repeat test done after discussing with your doctor. Keep your genital area clean and observe hygiene.
