good evening doc why is gudcef 200 used and what are its side effects, i am 35 years old female feeding my child and i have no other ailments and i am being prescribed this drug becoz i have severe cough and head ache and i tend to pass urine when i cough.

Gudcef is a cephalosporin ( a kind of antibiotic ) used to treat infection ( Throat infection in your case .
There are many side effects but it doesn't happen in all . Side effects include NAusea , vomiting , Skin rashes , Drop in Platelet count , Loose motions . These are the common side effects .
