General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Homocheck is a multivitamin (mecobalamin, pyridoxine and folic acid) combination commonly prescribed to treat their deficiency states such as anemia.

Generally it is well tolerated however it may cause nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, headache, and allergic reactions, although not everybody gets them. It is considered to be safe in persons with a single kidney.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
