What Are The Withdrawal Symptoms Of Pristiq 50 Mg?

Hello I m taking pristiq 50mg for about 2 years now and due to no fault of my own, I won t be able to get it refilled again till the 31st. I have 7 tablets left and am terrified of the withdrawal symptoms that are to come. My friend offered me 150mg effexor. Will this work till I go back to Dr on the 31st when I can get script again? ? Please help.

Pristiq and effexor are similar medications, effexor is broken down to pristiq.

This means that there should be no serious complications with the use of the effexor but it would be best to speak to your doctor's office first to make sure that using this alternative is okay for you.
