What Can I Do About Pain At The Coccyx While Sitting Standing And During Bowel Movement?

I was diagnosed about 2 years ago, the top my buttcrack/ tailbone area definitely gets achy, my #2 hurts as it passes, and just in general. Sitting, standing, I have to change things up to get comfortable. It usually happens before a break out. Should I be concerned with an infection in the lining of my anus in addition to what would be symptoms, It hurts, it sucks.

Hello,

Your disease which is known as coxitis or sacroiliitis is a common problem that can persist for long. It will require a short course of anti-inflammatory drugs. However it can appear again and then again anti-inflammatory drugs will be required. However, the condition is not life threatening. Moreover, it is not related to any infection in the lining of your anus.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
