What Can I Do About Severe Charlie Horse In My Left Thigh?

I have had a bad charley horse on my left thigh for 5 hours following a rugged hike I went on. I can hardy walk on that leg without feeling a lot of tightness and some pain. I ve tried icing and some Alleve. What else can I do, and is there a point where I may have to see a doctor?

Hi,

Hot or cold bag use and pain medicine over the counter (like Ibugesic 400 mg) would help you to relieve acute pain. After that regular physiotherapy and calcium, vitamin D supplement would help.
