What Can I Do For Degenerative Disc Disease In The Lower Back?
I have had no cartilage between the vertebrae in my lower back for years. I fell on Sunday and have had excruciation pain since. The doctor prescribed a painkiller, which seems to ease the pain at times, but it takes a long time for it to kick in. any suggestions.
As first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
