What Can I Do To Reduce Bloating And Acid Reflux?

I am 67 and feel extremely bloated. I was told after an xray that I am constipated although I have movement every day. After taking milk of magnesia and taking liquids for 24 hours, my stool is only watery. I am still bloated and just experienced some acid reflux today.

Hi,

You are having dyspeptic symptoms. These could be due to poor digestion or poor functioning of the gut. This, in turn, could be to be due to a stomach bug or intake of food items that are rich in fiber content.

You can take Tab. Iladac, Tab. Lesuride MPS and Capsule VSL#3. Include yogurt in your diet and avoid food items that worsen your symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
