What Can Be Cause Of Pain And Grinding Noise In My Right Shoulder?
I am 26 yrs old and having pain and grinding noise in my right shoulder...I had some pain for the last 3 years but it is worse with the grinding..I've been to my family Dr. several times...I have tried Ibprofen 800mg,flexiril,and shots..I think it is more than just muscle problems...
Hi.Grinding is a classical sign that there is some problem with the the joint surfaces. The first thing to do is keep the right forearm in the sling and give it a rest of not less than 3 weeks. Secondly go for an MRI study of the joint. This will give you the right diagnosis.
Thirdly consult the Orthopedic Surgeon. for proper co-relation between the clinical/ physical findings on examination and MRI report and then only go for a proper treatment.. Fortunately you can go for a diagnostic and therapeutic orthroscopy of this joint too.
