What Can Be Done For High Fever Along With Headaches And Stomach Ache?

My daughter has a temperature between 103-104 for three days now. She complains of a very bad headache and occasional stomach pains under her left breast. I ve been alternating Tylenol and Ibuprofen which brings her fever down. What else should I do? The first night she came down with the fever, I took her to our local MASH unit who did a throat culture which came out negative.

Hello,

First we have to confirm for the cause for the fever by blood investigation and urine examination.

She may need CBP, malaria smear, widal, urine examination etc.

Use tablet Paracetamol. Drink plenty of liquids and take rest. Use tepid sponging regular intervals.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
