What Can Be Done For Speeding Up The Recovery Of The Labia Swelling And The Painful Urination?

I have or had 2 ingrown hairs and whiteheads on my labia majora, which seemed swollen. Hurts to walk or sleep comfortably. Not to mention painful urination. I have gone to the dr and have been on antibiotics for 2 days. Some of them have burst but my left labia is still swollen. What can I do to stop the painful urination (burning) and speed up the recovery proceess?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The burning on urination may be use to the urine passing over the irritated/inflamed vaginal surface.

If you have any barrier creams, the application to the area may be helpful to prevent the urine from irritating the skin. This includes creams such as petroleum jelly or zinc based creams.

An anti inflammatory pain killer such as ibuprofen, cataflam or naproxen, may also be helpful.

I hope this helps
