What Can Be The Cause Of Involuntarily Urination?

Hi, I have been dealing with this problem for a few months now, I m urinating involuntarily. When I m sitting, standing, walking and running, sometimes I don t feel it, sometimes I do. When I m taking my clothes off or go to the toilet I notice urine in my pants, it can be little or big patches. A couple years ago I was in my house and I passed gas (embarrassing I know, but we all do it) and diareha came out and it happened again the same year, I wasn t ill or sick. It s starting to become a real problem. I can t change in front of best friend anymore in case she sees there s a big wet patch in my knickers. Please help

Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
This is called urinary incontinenceand this is a common and often embarrassing problem. The severity ranges from occasionally leaking urine when you cough or sneeze to having an urge to urinate that's so sudden and strong you don't get to a toilet in time. It can be caused by everyday habits, underlying medical conditions or physical problems. Urinary tract infection can irritate your bladder, causing you to have strong urges to urinate, and sometimes incontinence. Constipation- The rectum is located near the bladder and shares many of the same nerves. Hard, compacted stool in your rectum causes these nerves to be overactive and increase urinary frequency. Neurological disorders may be cause as well. It may be treated by Medications, biheviroal techniques, pelvic flood exercises or electrical stimulation and it depends on type of disorder.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
