What Can Be The Reason For Febrile Fits During Fever ?
My son is 8 years. He got febrile fits twice during high fever in 6 months. We took an EEG and in that the doctor s comment war epileptic disfunction. Do I have to consult a neurologist for this? The convulsion was found only during fever, otherwise he is perfect. Please help me sir. With regards, Krishnamoorthty

Febrile convulsions are mostly harmless ,as EEG report say it as epileptic dysfunction.there is no harm in consulting neurologist.
