What Can Be The Reason For Smell In Urine And Cramps?

For the last 3 weeks I had a fruity smell when I urinate, stronger in the morning. I have had this before, I had a bladder infection with burning sensations and bladder cramps. This time I have no symptoms other than the fruity smell. I have Type II diabetes.

You have diabetis ....
Is it under control with drugs or insulin ????

In diabetis sometimes keton bodies may increased that is called ketoacidosis ...

So your blood and urine keton body estimation needs to be done ....
If needed arterial blood gas analysis useful...

If present then treated accordingly with insulin and fluid replacement , pottasium supplement , sodium bicarbonate etc ....

Consult physician for that ....

If you have done prolonged starvation then also fruity smell from ketoacidosis can occurs ...
