What Can Be The Reason For The Bumps In The Throat?

Hi doctor, about 2 yrs ago I gave oral sex on a guy and about 3 weeks after, I got clear color bumps in the back of my throat, along with a slight sore throat. I showed it to my doc and she said they were little nodules so she gave me antibiotic which didnt do anything. After about another 2 weeks, the bumps turned pink like the color of my gum., I have no sore throat or anything, but every now and then when I swallow, it feels like there is a furball in my throat or a lump. What could this be?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

The bump can be due to lymphoid tissue enlargement in your tongue. The most common cause is an infection and you may need a prolonged course of antibiotics for reducing it. Please discuss with your doctor.

Thanks
