What Can Be The Reason For Too Much Bleeding As I Generally Have A Normal Periods ?

I have been getting unusual mentruation. December 12th it started 2 weeks early, waned (but didn t stop) after a week, and started up heavy for another week. I just stated bleeding again, only a week and a half later! I m 35, healthy (as far as I can tell) and have had VERY regular monthly periods since my teens. What do you think is wrong with me?
