What Can Be The Treatment For Feeling Very Cold?

4 days ago i felt very cold, while wearing the few clothes on me in cold evening. came at home and went to bed at once fall asleep until next day. next day felt some discomfort in the stomach but not in single point. could feel something everywhere, having some sounds coming from there, what can be the treatment ?

Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM. I think you were actually having chills. From the entire history, I think you might have got some gi infection leading to gastroenteritis or dyspepsia. You haven't mentioned your bladder and bowel habit, whether there is any history of fever, nausea, vomiting etc. For the time being please have plenty of oral fluid and ORS. If you have nausea and / or vomiting Ondansetron 4 mg may be taken sublingually (preferred) or orally. You can have Dicyclomine 10 mg or Drotaverine 80 mg for colicky pain abdomen. For fever, you may have paracetamol 500 mg. In case the problem persists for more than 12 hrs or you have intractable pain, vomiting or diarrhoea and/or increasing temperature spike, please consult your local doctor immediately for further evaluation including clinical examination and investigations to rule out a more serious condition. Antibiotic treatment may be considered depending upon the condition. For further information please write back to us. Regards. Dr. Kaushik
