What Can Cause Bloody Vomiting, Delusion And Chest Pain After Using BC Powder?

My friend gave me some BC powder last night. Ifelt as if I had poured acid down my throat. I immediately threw up and began spitting up blood as well as blood in my nose when I blew it. During the night I was freezing ( still am), I had delusions and I ve had terrible chest pains that run down my right arm as well as a nasty headache. What Happened ?! I m guessing an allergic reaction, but to what ?

Hello,

It may contain high doses of Acetaminophen which may aggravate gastric ulcers may lead to hematemesis and vomiting. In few patients it may cause liver toxicity. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week.

Please check for cardiac pain by ECG and echo if it is normal. Then, if necessary, take upper GI endoscopy. Please consult your physician/gastroentrologist, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
