What Can Cause Itch In Between Thumb, And In Panty Line Area?

my left palm & the section between my thumb & index finger started itching last Tuesday, them by Saturday morning I woke with itching around my female hair and itchy red pots were your panty line and my inner thighs can this yeast, I was taking a antibiotic a few weeks ago and felt like I was getting a yeast infection called my doctor and she called in Fluconazole Tablet I did take. also I m starting the itching on my elbows. it comes and goes and when I scratch it, it burns.

Hi,,

From what you described, most probably this is scabies. This is an infestation caused by a small mite- causes sever itching in skin folds and flexural area, more severe at night. After confirming the diagnosis, we need whole body application of creams like permethrin (ideally all members in the house), along with hot wash and sun drying of all garments including inners. Your doctor will guide you. Meanwhile, you can take antihistamine like levocetirizine (5mg once daily) to relieve itching.
