What Can Cause Pain On The Tip Of The Solar Plexus?

I have pain on the tip of my solar plexus and on the left side tip of my solar plexus. It’s only painful when it press on it; however I don’t have to press hard for it to hurt. When I don’t press on it, it feels like someone has the tip of someone’s thumb sitting on top of it. There isn’t a squeezing sensation. I’m really worried and would appreciate if someone could tell me what possibly is going on. I do have some heartburn occasionally. I had pancreatitis 16 months ago. Thank you for your time

Hi,

Solar plexus (celiac plexus) area pain may be due to gastritis or costochondritis or cardiac pain or pleurisy or hepatitis etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use tablet Pantoprazole.

Avoid spicy food, alcohol consumption, smoking and caffeine drinks.

If symptoms not improved please consult your gastroenterologist, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
