What Can Cause Painful Knots In The Neck And Ankle?

A friend of mine has been having multiple problems pop up one after another. It started with a knot on her neck which caused her pain when she would move it. Then a knot and a bruise on her ankle which made it to where she has trouble walking a bit. Then a bruise and knot on her knee, and it s also very warm when you touch it
