What Can Cause Pin Prick Sensation In The Back Of Knee?

I have a feeling a pin prick in the back of my knee. It only occurs in one place, and I can not feel it when I am sitting down. It is not super painful, mainly uncomfortable and it usually occurs when I am walking around. I have started training for a half marathon, could running have caused this? What could be causing this sensation?

Hello
I have studied your case. Yes your knee pain can be due to excessive walking.
There is possibility of cartilage damage leading to knee pain.
I will advise you x ray and MRI to confirm diagnosis.
Another possibility of ligament injury .
