What Can Cause Spotting After Sex For A Person Using Mirena Coil?
Hi I am 47 and have had 2 children. I have the Mirena coil fitted. 5 or 6 weeks ago I had some spotting after sex. I hadn t had a period since the Spring but had one 4 weeks ago. Last Tuesday I had some spotting, thought it had stopped and had sex on Friday night. Blood over the sheets. Still light bleeding.

There can occur a displacement of the mirena coil. This can lead to spotting so get an ultrasound of lower abdomen done.
