What Can Cause Temporary Memory Loss?
My husband, 68 yo, recently had an episode of memory loss of about 6-7 hours. During this time he was functioning as usual. Such as dressing, walking, talking, but had no idea where he was or how he got there. Answered questions by answering "I don't know, or I don't remember". CT was pretty well normal, MRI showed "minimal periventicular white matter eschemia" with periods appearing blocked" has since felt pretty well. Bp is usually normal, no diabetes, but does have high cholesterol, waiting for neurologist appt. Any ideas?

At the age of 68 years memory loss is very uncommon and if CT brain and other investigation does not reveal anything abnormal then it may be some psychological disturbances and not the pathological disease, such person needs some moral support stress free life, exercise helps a lot.
