What Can Cause Tremors In The Hands?

I have mild tremor, mostly in my right hand, which causes problems writing or sometimes holding a cup or glass of something. I have a fairly severe degenerative disc disease and a four level fusion in my neck which I believe has caused nerve damage, especially on my right side. Any ideas
