What Can Cause Vomiting After Taking AKT-4 For Tuberculosis And What Are The Findings From The Live Function Test?

Hi doctor ...i was diagnosed for tb 2 week back and started my medicine AKT-4.I am 25 year old female.since last 2 days I.e 10th day of my medication i am continuosly vomiting even at intake of water.My LPT/LFT test shows SGOT/SGPT-1185/687.I want to know is my life at risk

Hi. Tuberculosis makes life more risky than the medicines. You need the medicines for TB for sure. Your vomiting can be due to two reasons; 1 gastritis due to the medicines and 2. hepatitis , looks to be drug induced . I would suggest you to visit the Doctor to immediately change over to liver-safe medicines for TB.
