What Can I Do For A Fast Breathing And Runny Nose?
have 3 year old daughter - had tonsils and adenoids removed just over 2 weeks ago and now has runny nose, persistent cough and rapid breathing - history of asthma tendencies but salbutomol not helping - she is currently asleep but breathing still fast - no fever
Hello As there is a positive history of asthma this episode appears to me as a recent exacerbation. The management depends on the severity. If it is not improving with salbutamol giving oral/inhalation steroid will help. I would like to get her evaluated by a pediatrician for clinical examination and management accordingly. Regards
