What Can One Ingest After A Bout Of Food Poisoning?

Hi i have food poisoning at the moment and i am feeling really under the weather. I have been in bed all day and have been sipping water threw a straw because that s all i can stomach. The last time i was sick was 2:00am this morning but i havn t eaten since before i was sick. I m not hungry at the moment but when i do get hungry what do you suggest i eat? I am also craving a cup of tea would that be okay? And would a few biscuits with it be okay? Thanks :)

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* In case of acute food poisoning, following stuff would serve best:

- boiled water
- lemon juice
- coconut water
- homemade juices
- organic fresh fruits
- organic tea or coffee

* Biscuits, aerated drinks, ice creams, junk foods are usually avoided.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
