What Can Relieve The Stomach Pain Caused By Yeast Infection?

The lady I work for has been told by her dr that she has a yeast infection of the stomach the dr put her on an antifungal medicine she only has 3 days left and the severe stomach pain started back yesterday and a temp. of 100.6 today. Do you have any suggestions on what she can do to relieve the pain.

Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
As you are diagnosed to have fungal infection of stomach from your doctor and you have been taking treatment for the same with antifungal drugs.
The stomach pain may be due to gastric iritation caused by the medicine which you are taking.As you are having fever of 100.6 F, i would suggest to you
1.Oral Antacids/Rantac/proton pump inhibitors
2.Oral antipyretic
For time being you can take these medicines but you have to consult your doctor.
You may require lab investigations to found out the cause and then we can think about further course of management.
