What Can The Bad Odour In Urine Be Reduced?

I have a very strong urine smell; which concerns me. My gynecologist tested my urine on Tuesday s appointment and said that I do not have a bladder infection; that all looks well. I am 54 with MS and wheelchair bound. I just began to notice this strong urine odor within the last two weeks. when my diaper is put into the trashcan it smells over the entire bedroom. Jackie

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!
Yes, your concern is very true.
As you already have examined your urine, which is normal & there is no infection as told by your doctor, I would advise you to drink approximately 2 litres of water in 24 hours.
Take plenty of liquids in a day.
This will reduce the odour & but not completely.
Presence of such odour is quite common & also is a normal thing, so need not worry.
Hope this information is useful.
Wish you healthy life.
Thanks. Regards.
