What Care Can Be Taken For A Bleeding Nose And Black Eye Post Injury?

Was punched in the nose last night, it was bleeding pretty bad, then continued to kinda leak blood for hours. The left side had stopped bleeding then it just started dripping mucus & is still stopped up today as if I need to blow my nose. Not to mention I also woke up with a left black eye . What do I need to do please?

Hello,

You are having a traumatic bruise over left side eye and nose.

You can take anti-inflammatory medication containing diclofenac sodium and paracetamol with serratiopeptidase for 5-7 days.

You can apply a cold compress over that.

Don't try to do strenuous activities.

If no improvement than consult otorhinolaryngologist for detailed evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
