What Care Can Be Taken For A Small Bump On The Tailbone?

Hi, I was diagnosed this past spring with a hematoma on my tailbone from a fall a few weeks prior. They gave me antibiotics and made a small incision because there was some infection. It went away but a small bump remained. Recently however it seems to have come back. Anything I can do at home without having to go back to the doctor?

Hello,

As you have this bump every now and then I will advise you to modify your diet, improve the strength in the hip muscles and lower back muscles.

Use a piled pillow to avoid compression over the region, keep the area clean and hygienic. If followed I think you shouldn't get this back.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
