What Care Should Be Taken For Bloody Diarrhea In A Person Who Has Ulcerative Colitis?

I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. But my symptoms are changing, I am in the bathroom at least 6 times a day I have bad stomach and intestine pain and nausea all the time. It is extremely painful to Have a BM, its very loose but I have to push very hard to get it out, it also has blood and mucus in it and is Very skinny. I can only eat chicken breast every now and then,and 2 boost shakes a day and a type of water that has electrolytes in it. Just to stay hydrated.i have begged my GI doc to do a colonoscopy for the last three months. Any advise would help!!!!!

Hello,

But don't worry. since when you're suffering from this condition? Possible causes are like dysentery or diarrhea or food intolerence or irritable bowel syndrome or inflammatory bowel problems or infections etc.

You have to avoid chicken or spicy food intake. avoid gluten or lactose contain food.

Do regular exercise and yoga. Use tablet ofloxacin and ornidazole twice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved then get it done stool examination and microscopy. If necessary you may get it done a colonoscopy.

Take a soft diet. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
