What Cause Excessive Mucus Throughout The Day?
I have been consistently producing excessive mucus and (i think acidity) amounting to about half a pint that I slowly regugitate during night and upon waking. I am ob quadruple therapy for h pylori as it was suspected that this was the cause but on day 9, of taking pills there is no difference. I think I might have caught another bug/ worm? when I travelled to Brazil over a year ago. Any idea what I should be suggesting to my doctor who does not seem to know what else to do.

Excess mucus seems to be from the side effect of antibiotics used for H.Pylori treatment. We recommend additional intake of proton pump inhibitor, antacid syrup with dietary measures to be followed strictly.
