What Cause Occasional Deep Breaths In A Baby?

Hi, i have a 1 month old baby who was born about 1 week before the determined date by our doctor. I have noticed that she sometimes breathes deeply, so that her stomach bulges heavily everytime she inhales. I just want to make sure this is no problem.

hi, this is a normal pattern of breathing in small babies. Small babies breathe fast then stops for sometime and take a deep breath. It's a common thing. There is no need to worry about this. However, an examination by doctor should be done so that cardiovascular examination and chest examination can be done. Take care.
